I am a full-time researcher at the Department of Computer Science, IIMAS-UNAM. My work covers the design, analysis, and application of algorithms for multi-objective optimization under uncertainty. I combine mathematical programming, reinforcement learning, and evolutionary algorithms to study decision-making, control, and system design problems. Applications include finance, logistics, and participatory artificial intelligence (AI).

I lead the OptiMO group, coordinate the BSc in Data Science (IIMAS-UNAM) and the Diplomado en IA Aplicada (DGTIC-UNAM), and serve as Associate Editor of Engineering Optimization. I also consult on applied optimization problems and speak regularly on AI and decision-making for general audiences.
